Barwell Bloomers entered a float in Barwell famous Carnival Parade. The theme was 60s flower power. Some of the Bloomers team dressed in clothes of the era and a car designed in the 60s was decorated with flower power stickers and plants.
The float won second prize in the competition for the best floats.
